We
are no longer looking for things to change so we can feel better,
only after we see things change.. We are remembering that in order
to see things change, we must change the way we see things.
Doing this is what integrates the feminine principle, within both
male and female. Some claim the Law of Attraction (like attracts
like) is a female principal and that is what the planet is all about
at the moment - reclaiming our feminine energies.
According
to Abraham, (the channelled
teacher of manifesting) "You have come forth to stand in the midst
of ultimate contrast, in order to choose what you want." Out of the
contrast a rocket of desire launches forth within you. This is referred
to as an "energy spike." Since this is not where you are used to vibrating,
in the moment in which this rocket of desire is born, you are not
a vibrational match to it. After the initial high you begin to feel
very weird, because you've just rocketed into another frequency and
now you've come back to your normal frequency with new knowledge and
you're not sure what to do about it. You are rather betwixt and between.
Your
work at this point is to think about this new idea, play with it,
imagine it and talk to yourself and others about it. When you have
saturated yourself with these activities the new thought begins to
feel more familiar to you. When this new thought which was once a
rocket of desire begins to feel familiar to you it's not because of
what you're living but because of what you're giving your attention
to on a steady basis.
At
last this new thought begins to feel so familiar to you that it's
a vibrational match to your original rocket of desire and Poof! you've
manifested your desire and you're standing in a new place. In this
new place are a new set of contrasting desires and out of these contrasts
a rocket of desire goes off within you, and at first it feels weird
as it's different from where you're vibrating at the moment, so your
work is to play with it, imagine it, talk about it, until it's a vibrational
match with your rocket of desire and Poof! you are standing in a new
place with your manifestation looking about at the contrasts etc...
I am told that this is the way our universal and eternal life works
- and I believe it. It is said by the Guides that is why we
came to Earth, as it has the leading edge, among all the planets,
in contrasts. It's sort of like the song about New York City - 'if
you can do it here - you can do it anywhere'.
Those
who learn to create on this planet are known as "geniuses of creation."
It's all about learning how to relate to the ideas we give birth to
in our minds, before we set to work in the action arena.
I observed this dynamic at work on a very simplistic level the other
night when I watched a clip from a program on animal intelligence.
A banana was hung high over the heads of a small group of chimps.
It was totally out of their reach, it was so impossibly high it just
as well wasn't there. However, placed around the area were three boxes
and a long stick, all the tools they needed to secure the banana.
(The Guides tell us that we also have the solutions to all our dilemmas
within reach if we will look around with our creative imagination.)
So, the chimps looked up at the banana and stared scratching their
heads and pacing back and forth under it.
They
had a rocket of desire to get the banana and they didn't know how,
which felt weird to them, as this was a new situation and did not
feel in harmony with how they usually felt. Pacing and grimacing was
added to the scratching - this was a very weird situation, indeed.
The Law of Attraction states that whatever you focus on will
eventually come to you and those chimps began to focus. For the majority
it was too frustrating and they gave up fairly quickly, turning there
backs on that stupid banana. One, a female named Marta continued to
study the situation of the impossible banana as she REALLY wanted
it. Eyeing the boxes, then the banana, boxes, banana her vibratory
frequency began moving toward the solution fueled by her "rocket of
desire."
She
finally figured out to drag the boxes under the banana and stack them
one upon the other. It took some time to learn how to stack them in
such a way that they didn't topple over as soon as she jumped on them.
Marta persevered. Stacking was mastered and then accomplished, Marta
carefully climbed atop the pile and began jumping vigorously toward
the banana - but to no avail, still too damn high. Eventually she
discovered the stick and began jumping and swatting simultaneously.
After a few highly energetic swats the banana flew through the air
and landed on the ground.
None
of the other chimps made a move toward it, I'm sure after all that
work Marta would have lambasted them in an African heartbeat. Marta
jumped down and retrieved her prize and as she stood happily in her
new place as banana-conqueror, feeling satisfied with banana on her
breath, she then looked out at the contrasts, until she felt a rocket
of desire, which felt weird at first and then she began to play with
it.
It is my understanding that we were meant to imagine more and observe
less. As we stand in our current reality we give more attention to
what is going on around us - then to ideas in our minds. This, of
course, will attract more of what you are looking at and less of the
dreams in your head. Sometimes we birth a new idea and it immediately
makes us angry, as there is such a wide gap between what we are living
and what we are wanting. We then judge ourselves as instant failures,
"Oh no, another thing that I want, that I don't have."
Of course, if we view our world through the lens of "Oh no I'm here
and it's there," our desire will continue to stay away from us as
we are amplifying the energy of here (or what is) rather than filling
our minds with there (what we want it to be).
At
one level this is quite understandable, because if we have a desire
that's spinning high and fast and a reality that's still moving pretty
slow, the vibrational mis-match is so uncomfortable we will eventually
give up saying, "Oh, I didn't want it anyway." But, that's usually
a lie we tell ourselves in order to restore our comfort zone - it's
such a usual reaction to the situation that it is considered normal.
Since no one informed us that we came here to learn how to create
through the energy of our desires, when a new idea births, we very
quickly wrestle it to the ground and kill it, before it starts causing
waves in our lives.
The
Guides find this fascinating, as we are born into a universe that
is designed to stimulate desires in us and we run around trying to
knock-off as many as possible. Abraham tells us that what is needed
is to realize we are vibrational beings who when experiencing a rocket
of desire have two choices; Either we bring the frequency of our desire
down to match our belief or we bring our belief up to match our desire.
You see the universe doesn't know if the vibration we are offering
is a response to our reality or our imagination - it just matches
it - no questions asked. Which means you could be living in poverty
or have a dread disease and if you could completely imagine health
or wealth - Poof! you would have it, but first you would have to believe
it!
In
matters of manifesting it's more important to spend time in your mind
and less time observing your reality. The universe is responding to
your thoughts and feelings, not your reality. Your reality is just
a manifestation of your earlier thought processes. What the Guides
are saying is that our reality is not worth all the attention we give
it. They claim we drown our senses in what is, instead of bubbling
up into what can be. The Guides obviously don't know how addicted
we are to observing and adjusting our physical reality.
Most of us still move from the place of making it better on the outside
- assuming that it will make it better on the inside. "If I just keep
the pillow-reality of our lives fluffed just so, it'll be alright."
One of these days we'll figure out that if we make it better on the
inside, everything on the outside will appear harmonious no matter
what condition the pillows are in. Until then we'll just keep studying
that banana that hangs high overhead as we fluff the pillows below.
