The Divine Self : Part II
by Suhamaraan

How interesting it would be, when if, at the supermarket, you didn't have enough money, the cashier said, "Oh I know we have a problem, let's see what we can do about it."
That truly would not be as isolating an experience. If there were other experiences, as in therapy, and "we" could work together on "our" problem, empathy would not need to be an issue for it would be your problem as well.
As human beings, you have been given a perfect balance. You have been given the "me" and the "we," so you really can be your own best friend.
You can be your own healer, you can be your own teacher, for you have two separate aspects: one of "group" consciousness or Universal Mind and the other of personal consciousness and personal mind. The interaction can lead to amazing results! Miracles, if you will.

In situations when you are afraid, truly it is the Divine Self that can pull you out of that place, for then you are connected to All There Is. Yet if you stay in the personal self, Fear is quite a big problem for when you are isolated, by yourself, or you stay in the "me," you have Fear. Yet when you function through Divine Self, fear does not exist. You have All with you and there is great strength in numbers.
We are now saying that the Divine Self helps you achieve that "Love vibration" that most talk about. Helps you step out of Fear into Love. This is truly what you are trying to achieve on your planet.
If you saw a person in the street who was homeless, if you did not separate and think, "This is a homeless person, and I am going home," either you would both remain homeless or you would both go home.
If each was taking care of "other" as "self," you would not have the problems you have at this time on earth. It is in the separation that you have created war, pollution, addiction, and crime. It is in your separateness, not only from each other but between your personal self and your Divine Self, in the not working together, within or outside self, that problems are created. The integration of your personal self and your Divine Self can lead the world to a better tomorrow.

You have heard many say, "Your external world is a reflection of what's going on in your internal world," or the other way around, and this is a truth because they are talking about the personal self and the Divine Self and how, at this time, human beings are trying to integrate or recognize that Divine self truly exists within each person.
The communication between your personal self and your Divine Self can lead to Oneness and to the releasing of dualities in both a personal and universal fashion.
You have seen how the Divine Self is practical, and so you say to Suhamaraan, "Well, I want to recognize and use this Divine Self. It sounds like a good thing."
Suhamaraan says this is "process" you are speaking of. It is not an instant recognition. When you have an interaction with another that is compassionate and of essence love, recognize that as your Divine Self.
Start looking at your life in the moment, in the interaction either between self and self, or self and other, and ask, "Is this coming from my personal self or my Divine Self?" You can find out by what is happening.

Are you in Fear? Or are you in Love? Are you in compassion or are you in anger? If you can look at these interactions, you will be able to tell which place your responses are coming from. The more you recognize your Divine Self, the larger the part of your whole self it can become. It develops as you allow it to develop, as you recognize its existence through your thoughts, words and actions.

The Divine Self has been neglected for so long that it is sometimes difficult to finally get to the underlying factor of Truth. The Divine Self will truly bring the world to where you wish it to be.
Would it not be harder to divorce yourself?
Would it not be harder to abuse yourself?
Many of the things we believe we do to others are truly being done to Self, when you are looking at it through a Divine perspective. So start looking at the world through Divine eyes rather than personal eyes.
Try this for a week and see how your perception changes. Look at it through the eyes of Oneness, where everything is connected and it is all part of each.
Consciously control your responses to others. Ask yourself, "Would the Divine Self act this way? Or would it not?"
Practice. Practice is the way you can allow your Divine Self to surface, to bring it into the forefront of your interactions. This is a beginning of how you may develop your consciousness. Only by recognizing and using your Divine Self will it be as great a consideration in your life as your personal self.

Do you know there is no such thing as sacrifice through the eyes of Divine Self? You cannot sacrifice what is ALL there is. If it is part of everything, you can not sacrifice for it is only going from one location to another within the same place. It is only when you are looking at it from the perception of a personal self that you have sacrifice or loss, crisis, or suffering. All of these things do not exist within the Divine Self.
An example: Look at your physical body. If you are working from the perception of a personal self, then when your right hand washes your left hand, your left hand feels like it is "getting" something, while your right hand feels like it is "giving it away." Yet from the eyes of the Divine Self interaction, it's one part aiding another for the good of all of it.
So truly you may look at your personal self perception as parts of the body and the Divine Self as the whole body.

The personal self functions on who has more, who can out do another, who can be more powerful, more intelligent, richer. More doesn't exist through the eyes of Divine Self. Each has the same whether it is more or less, it doesn't have to be given in equal parts, for it is all the same.
And where, do you ask, does achievement fit in? How can I motivate myself and try to achieve and attain things in my life if I am not doing it for personal?
Motivation can be quite a big issue when people are trying to discover their Divine Self. Yet, think about how great the motivation would be when you have All behind you, working for you, with you, and think of what you are working for. If every one of you recognizes and uses your Divine Self in your life, the rewards will be many, for so many, and you can help create a beautiful and hopeful tomorrow for the children of the planet Earth.
