Buyer's comments:
(From Amazon.com)

"Best Money Ever Spent I've never, ever gotten more out of a purchase in my life!.."

"This couse is the greatest thing that has ever happend to me. I think we all want to be happy. This course is not really Buddhist or even a course of meditation. It's a road map to happiness and great peace. It's a road map home...."

"It will change your life... This course is complete. It has everything you need to meditate... except something to sit on. The tapes are great. They start of really basic and gradually build on one another. One side of a tape is a teaching and the second is a guided meditation. It really makes you feel like you are there sitting with the instructor... I continue to meditate today. The way you look at the world will never be the same..."

Q & A
Q - is this Insight Meditation Correspondence Course absolutely the same as the one I see offered in other places for $198.00? Why are you able to undersell Amazon etc? I am very, very serious about doing this course and want to make sure that I am getting the entire package, with all components and instruction in it's most current form.

A - I completely understand your wise concern. The Insight Meditation Correspondence Course I sell is the brand new, official course. I get it new, directly from the publisher, "Sounds True" and it comes to me sealed with the course workbook on the outside. (Beware if a store is selling just the tapes!) It is the original course you would buy from the publisher. The instructions for connecting with your personal teacher are inside the course. You can correspond by mail, email or audio cassette. I have been selling Sounds True products online to happy customers for the past 10 years. As far as the savings, I have very low overhead so I can pass savings and careful service on to you. Hope that helps!

Insight Meditation Correspondence Course

When you seek to live a spiritual life, what matters most is not what you know, but the actions you take. How do you best embody the spiritual principles that uplift you and those whose lives you touch? On Insight Meditation, you will learn one of the world's great contemplative practices, as it was taught by the Buddha himself and then passed "candle to candle" for over 2,500 years.

Students will learn with a qualified meditation instructor how to establish and sustain a daily meditation practice. As each lesson unfolds and the principles of mindful living are revealed, students learn to see past the illusion of life's obstacles and move toward an awakened mind state - the true freedom we seek to achieve. Editorial Reviews:

From AudioFile - Sharon Salzberg and Joseph Goldstein, co-founders of the Insight Meditation Society, teach the Buddhist vipassana, or insight meditation. This comprehensive audio correspondence course, the first of its kind, is designed to be completed within a year. Side 1 of each tape contains a talk about a specific aspect of meditation practice, while side 2 follows with a guided meditation. Arranged in a naturally flowing sequence, tapes should be listened to in order. Purchasers of INSIGHT MEDITATION are entitled to a year of guidance and support from a personal meditation instructor. The accompanying workbook contains lesson reviews, a glossary, exercises, and questions for the student. A student may submit answers to the instructor by regular mail, email, or --appropriately-- by audiocassette. Students can expect a helpful, attentive, and timely response. Listeners who participate fully in the course can expect to develop a strong foundation in daily meditation practice. C.S. © AudioFile 2000, Portland, Maine-- Copyright © AudioFile, Portland, Maine
