The
first meditation music authorized by Caroline Myss! With ethnic percussion
instruments and drums, woodwinds, stringed instruments, voice and
bells. The original form of this work was written as a musical atmosphere
to accompany Caroline Myss' guided meditations on the program, Spiritual
Power, Spiritual Practice.
Each
of the body's seven chakras - or "energetic databases" -
responds to specific vibrational frequencies. These sounds, teaches
Caroline Myss, can be used to help us asses and cultivate our energetic
health. Now, with Caroline Myss' Chakra Meditation Music you
can experience the same meditations that she uses in her own daily
practice.
Composed
and performed by acclaimed world music artist, Stevin McNamara, Caroline
Myss' Chakra Meditation Music was created specifically to support
two daily chakra diagnosis sessions: an energizing morning meditation
and a calming evening meditation. Learn with the help of an easy-to-follow
study guide (included) - or simply listen to the extraordinary music
on it's own to experience it's beneficial effects.
(Excerpts
written by Stevin McNamara)
1.
Morning Meditation 30:00 In the morning we visit each chakra in ascending
order (see p. 3 of the accompanying study guide for a textual journey
through each chakra for the morning meditation). After a brief musical
invocation, seven distinct movements in the music portray this process.
Each movement conveys the character - the core feeling - of that particular
chakra. The musical intervals and the appropriate vowel sounds are
based on ancient traditions that date as far back as the Vedas.
2. Evening Meditation 30:00 The evening meditation reverses the morning
process of ascent (see p. 12 of the accompanying study guide for a
textual journey through each chakra for the evening meditation). Here
we descend through the seven chakras, beginning at the top of the
head.
Our
day is a circle of time. Our life is a circle within which our actions
come and go. We always come back to the center - the now. In the end
we rest - we are still. We go to our dreams.
