The Personal Year is a vibration that blends your personal numbers (birth month and day) with the calendar year. Numerologists differ in their calculations here, where some say your personal year changes to the next vibration on Jan. 1 of each year and others say it changes on your birthday. Which is the more powerful influence on you? Is it your personal yearly cycle which begins on your first day on earth or the Julian calendar created 400 years ago? I have personally come to realize that both are true to some extent... On Jan 1st a new number influence does begin to affect you and it is empowered by mass consciousness agreeing to experience it together.

The Calendar year we agree on, regardless of whether or not it is based on fact, is the same as collectively agreeing on a name or collectively agreeing on a belief system. The Collective Consciousness of our 'tribe"; family, state, country, continent, planet, universe... has an effect that can be readily observed - especially over time. The really interesting thing is that the numerological yearly cycles of our planet, Earth, find parallels and validation when compared to the interpretation of the current astrological transits!

So on Jan 1, your personal vibration changes, in part, to the vibration of the new calendar year and blends with your month and day creating your Personal Year. From your birthday of 1999 (or the current calendar year) until the end of that year is when you will fully feel the influence of your Personal Year. It is actually your birth day that sounds the 'gong' of your new Personal Year and during the time before your birthday you are under a combined influence of the previous Personal Year overlapping the current calendar year.

Looking at it this way, we can see that some of us really never experience a Personal Year of a single 'note', but we are more likely living within a harmony of overlapping tones - one being stronger and purer for a time, then the next tone vibrates in, combining with the subtler vibration of the Calendar Year, to create a new chord - unique to us and our life's rhythm. Even so, our Personal Year (from birthday to birthday) is still the most distinguishable and it's this number that we can look at for the events and experiences of our personal yearly cycles.
